Grief Circles with Yasemin Isler
Grief Circles: Safe Space for Healing and Connection
Grief touches every life, yet too often we carry it alone. A grief circle offers a compassionate, supportive space to share, reflect, and be witnessed in community. Together, we create a gentle container where healing can unfold through presence, mindfulness, and story.
Format
Duration: 1 hour or 1.5 hours
Guided by: Mindfulness, reflection, and open sharing
Group size: 10–50 participants recommended
(larger groups are typically accomodated as a speaking or workshop engagement; however, we can talk and determine the best option together)
Suggested Donations
Community, Faith-Based, or Nonprofit Organizations:
1-Hour Circle: $20–$25 per person
1.5-Hour Circle: $25–$35 per person
Organizations or Groups with a Budget (e.g., for-profit or larger institutions):
1-Hour Circle: $30–$40 per person
1.5-Hour Circle: $40–$50 per person
Group Size Considerations
Smaller groups (10–15 attendees): Donations toward the higher end of the range help cover preparation and facilitation.
Larger groups (40–50 attendees): Donations at the lower end help maintain accessibility for all participants.
No one is ever turned away for lack of funds. Those with greater means are invited to give more, supporting others in the community.
Flat Honorarium Option (Scaled by Group Size)
1-Hour Circle:
10–20 attendees: $250–$350
21–35 attendees: $350–$450
36–50+ attendees: $450–$600
1.5-Hour Circle:
10–20 attendees: $350–$450
21–35 attendees: $450–$550
36–50+ attendees: $550–$750
This ensures equitable access while honoring the depth of preparation and guidance provided.
